HISTORICAL MASONRY RESTORATION OF THE GREENWOOD CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
Located in Tulsa’s historic Greenwood District, famously known as Black Wall Street, the Greenwood Chamber of Commerce stands as a symbol of resilience, preservation, and economic opportunity. Established in 1938, the Chamber has played a vital role in supporting Black-owned businesses, preserving Greenwood’s historic character, and revitalizing a community once recognized as one of the most prosperous African American business districts in the nation.
On this project, The Brothers restored the original historic brick wall, carefully stabilizing, sealing, and protecting it to preserve its character and integrity. The smooth stucco wall is a new addition, designed to complement the historic masonry without overpowering it.
No crumbling brick. No loose material. No dust. Just a clean, reinforced, and protected historic surface—kept true to its original look while ready for modern use.
